Veronica Contreras, is a seasoned global business consultant with over eighteen years of experience working with C-level executives for US Companies in the evaluation process of setting up of their operations in Mexico. She is an expert in facilitating the startup process for manufacturers in a maquiladora for foreign national companies through the “Shelter IMMEX Program" as well as the setup of call centers or BPO's.

Veronica outlines the feasibility of setting up a facility in Mexico for her clients. Specifically; she works on the cost models, process and timeline for the Mexico operation. She provides labor cost studies as well as site selection analysis and helps companies determine the ideal site to set up based on the current labor market.

She has worked directly on over 75 expansion projects in the Tijuana, Tecate and broader Baja California border region as well as in the interior of Mexico. She has lead the expansion projects for notable companies such as Icon Aircraft, Broan Nu-tone, Smiths Interconnect, DSBJ, Conesys, Aspen Medical, Southwire and Todco - just to name a few. She has provided employment to over 3,000 employees thru the shelter program.

Veronica also formed part of establishing an international call center /BPO that provides bilingual agents to US companies for services like customer service, debt collections or back office functions. Today that call center has over 2000 employees with four locations thru out Mexico.

Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration within emphasis in Marketing from San Diego State University and has extensive experience working in Mexico. She currently travels thru the US educating companies on how to set up operations in Mexico.
